The Gifts of the Day Part 6

Dear God, 

What will you give me today? To what gifts will you open my eyes, my heart, my soul, today? 

I believe that you are in everything, even in the routine, the everyday, the habitual, and that if I stop to take in your messages, my need at that very moment will be heard by you…

When down on myself, you give me total acceptance. 

When feeling inferior to others, you give an affirmation of my worth.  

When empty, you give me a full cup.

When self-absorbed, you gift me with opening my eyes to others. 

When consumed with fear, you give me the gift of holding me. 

When confused, you give me the gift of holy guidance and holy vision. 

When trapped in my fixation, you gift me by grounding me in presence.

When weakened, you give me fire in the belly.

When in conflict, you give me peace beyond my understanding. 

When grief-stricken, you give me moments of comfort and unexpected joy.

When weary, you gift me with confidence. 

When shattered, you gift me with a reminder of my wholeness.
