Soul Power Part 13
Today we continue our reflections on the power of soul and the Beatitudes of Jesus. What more splendid understandings of the soul could there be than Jesus’s explanations of how each ego type finds their soul?
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied." Ego Type Fives feel inner emptiness and fill it by taking in information. But they hoard their knowledge in self-made inner sanctums which become caves. Regardless of how much knowledge they acquire, their voracious appetites go unsatisfied. But at Soul Point Eight, their hunger is for righteousness instead of just knowledge. By embracing the Sacred Power of Point Eight, Fives emerge from their sanctums of knowledge to powerfully share their wisdom with others.
"Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." Ego Type Eights are made whole at their Soul Point Two, Sacred Compassionate Benevolence. Type Eights have facades of power and are disgusted by weakness in themselves and others. As a result, they unmercifully punish those who challenge their strength. But when Eights go to Soul Point Two, they embrace compassion for weaknesses in themselves and others. Then they are shown mercy from their fellow humans and, most of all, from God.
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." Ego Type Sixes' hearts are troubled and afraid. Their ego minds constantly anticipate anathema, rejection, and betrayal. But Sixes who go to their Soul Point at Nine embrace Sacred Loving Peace, which purifies their hearts by transforming anxiety into peacefulness. In their depths, they feel the support of the universe. Their realization lifts the veil of fear to see God.
Spiritual practice: Are you embracing your Beatitude? If so, how is it bringing its promised blessing?
Self-inquiry: Which of these soul qualities express the Divine in me?
Dear God,
On bended knee, I thank you for giving us the way back to ourselves and to you. Your Beatitudes are in us all and I pray to express each of them always. Amen
