The Heart Center of Intelligence Part 7: Our Being in the Image of God
The first sound you ever made wasn’t a cry, but a heartbeat, and it’s been telling the same story ever since. Each of us received the life force at our making and that same life force formed our bodies. Our hearts are the first organ to develop and they pump continuously until we make the transition to another form. Our human hearts reflect the heart of God. And our hearts reveal the emotions of God. As above, so below.
How does our heart reflect the heart of God?
Our hearts are full of energy including electrical charges. God is life-giving energy including electrical forces.
Our hearts nourish all parts of our body with precious blood. God’s life-giving nurturance flows to all parts of the cosmos.
Our heartbeats are synchronized in order to push the blood through the veins and arteries.
Our heart has chambers with divergent functions. God’s energy has many aspects that fulfill distinct functions.
Our hearts are centers of our emotions and are affected by our emotional states, the greatest of which is love.
God’s involvement in our lives holds us steady in times of need and releases us to grow through new experiences, allowing divine energy to flow through us and into the world.
God’s heart is full of emotion, the most fundamental of which is love.
Our hearts require renewal through the cycle of food, exercise, and emotional serenity.
God is the cycle of life, nature, and supreme serenity.
A pure heart can see God. God is pure love.
Negative emotions are a distortion of love or caused by the lack of it. Disconnection from the heartbeat of God fundamentally causes the distortions.
Yes, our hearts reflect and teach us the properties of God which keep on beating and circulating inside us all our lives.
Spiritual practice: The human heart mirrors the divine macro heart of the universe, called God. Our nourishment, our life force, and our emotions reflect divine functions. Without the invisible life force, our hearts would not have been set to beat. Our source of life keeps the life force flowing if we are connected to it.
