Soul Power Part 2

Our soul is the most powerful energy we have, but we ignore it when dominated by our ego. The result is that we manifest only a fraction of our true selves.

We need as much of our souls as possible because grief, estrangement, shame, hostility, illness, isolation, anxiety, depression, anger and strife drain us. The ego alone cannot heal these. As a result, those who want peace, healing and wholeness search for a greater capacity than our ego affords us. The capacity to access the power of our soul becomes a deep desire.

The secret of harnessing the soul’s power begins with our intention to use the qualities of our soul for healing and wholeness. To have this intention means any conversation, decision, and behavior is informed by first listening to the soul. The more we listen, the more guidance we receive, then beautiful things unfold for us … things we would never have imagined. We become spiritually stronger, are in touch with our virtues and are more tolerant of failures, insults, and hard times. We are more creative and we have access to divine wisdom.

How do we listen to the soul? We drop into our hearts and bellies. By doing so, we leave the mental constructs of our mind center which is now fueled by the soul. With transformed minds, we immediately relax and drop into our depths where worries are no longer as prominent because the soul awakens us to the power of the Divine. We realize we are not alone in this life but are with brothers and sisters who are also on a journey into wholeness. Instead of being blinded by the ego's story, we hear the gentle guidance of the Still, Small Voice.

Spiritual practice: Drop into your heart and realize that your mind is free of mental chatter, and that your body is free of tension.

Self-Inquiry: Why do I intend to listen to my soul?

Dear God,
As I drop into my soul, I am so close to you. I pray this closeness informs my every need. Amen
